Path2Integrity is co-organizing a congress on "The Fourth Industrial Revolution and its ethical impacts".  

During two days we will be discussing the following three pillars: 

1. Ethical impacts of: 4IR, AI, robots, regtech, fintech, internet of things, smart cities, 5G, ciber violence against women and girls, etc.
2. Companies/startups: what are they doing in order to change, adapt, and not lose the ethical track? Why are there so few women who found and own start-ups? Why do women not get VC? What about the financing.
3. Education: how do we educate our small ones and ourselves to navigate safely through all these changes?

For the third pillar, important representatives of Path2Integrity will be raising awareness about our project, they will call for participants for our workshops on teaching research integrity and they will also talk about best practise.

As the congress is co-organized by the European Women Lawyers Association based in Brussels and with EU Transparency Register ID: 730379225729-59, we have also invited the new President-elect Ursula von der Leyen and the Commissioners Vera Jourova and Mariya Gabriel as well as the president of European Economic and Social Committee Luca Jahier. Other speakers will be Gabriela Ramos (OECD Sherpa to G20), delegates from Women20 (W20, subgroup of G20), alumni of Global Leadership Academy implemented by GIZ, members of INGO Council of Europe, representatives of civil society, academia, public institutions, businesses, all stakeholders that are interested in 4IR and Ethics. We are supported by the Spanish Government and we hope that the Minister of Science and Universities, Pedro Duque, can attend our congress.

This congress is very important for Path2Integrity, as for the first time, we will present our project to a very broad audience in EU. 

Our intention is to blaze the trail for our own congress on 26/27 February 2021 (also in Madrid) and our workshops for teaching research integrity. As we see Path2Integrity as THE network for teachers/professionals who teach/want to teach research integrity, the November 2019 congress is a great opportunity to spread the word and to call up the curiosity and demand for the excellency of our project and the handbook.
