Path2Integrity Nepal Community: webinar on "Ethics in Public Health Research: Politics and Practices"
The Path2Integrity Community Nepal held an online event on the topic of "Ethics in Public Health Research: Politics and Practices" on 1 October 2020. The webinar gave an opportunity to a number of associate professors to present on the respective of their specialty topics, such as: Research of conduct in health research in Nepal; Strategies for Ethical Research Practices in Public Health; Deontological vs. teleological debates in Nepal: a bioethical perspective; Working towards a framework for governing health research in Nepal.
The online session gathered more than fifty participants, within whom were directors of health organisations, young researchers as well as ethical review board members. The attendants also had the opportunity to give remarks on the discussed topics, which were coherently addressed during a Q&A session towards the end of the webinar.
